About

Though I devoted most part of my professional life as an English teacher and Sworn translator and being the fields of study phonetics and phonology, linguistics, pragmatics and discourse, I'd focused on business, technical, and professional English. As a researcher, I find it fascinating the study of cross cultural issues, the differences underlining British and American English, and how the language is changing, featuring new words from the internet, and becoming more popular in day-to-day conversation. And it's precisely this growing interest that has given a new turn in my career. At present, I specialize in Text Mining detecting patterns in language combining traditional Discourse Analysis and Linguistics with modern technology like Machine Learning.
